Hear Giorgio Moroder's Celebratory New Song 'Good for Me'

Giorgio Moroder reunited with Casablanca Records, the label that release the disco pioneer’s “I Need Love” with Donna Summer and his classic 1977 LP From Here to Eternity. And the disco legend is celebrating with a surprise new single, “Good for Me.”

After releasing his first album in 23 years, Déjà Vu in 2015, Moroder teams up with singer Karen Harding on the upbeat dance track. “My goal is to make music that will make people want to dance, nothing else,” Moroder told Entertainment Weekly of “Good for Me.”

“When I first met Karen, I couldn’t believe how young and talented she is! She was so excitable! The studio atmosphere was very fun … When I heard her voice, and met her in person I knew it would be perfect. She is a talented girl, radiating beauty inside and out.”

Moroder added that new artists like DNCE, Skrillex and Rihanna are among those that have inspired him to create new music after a long period of inactivity. Recently, the 78-year-old musician announced that he was returning to Casablanca Records after 30 years away from the famed label.

“I am so excited to share new music with you and to work with the Casablanca family,” he said in a statement. “Casablanca from here to eternity. It just makes sense. It feels like home.”
